Great installment! The author has kept us anticipating the next book in the series for a long time now. I really enjoy the Star Force series!
Story progressed pretty well in terms of development however I find myself skipping some paragraphs because the information on the thoughts and motivations of the main character are pretty redundant. I don't need to know all the reasoning's to the decisions made when we already know the characters motivation from the beginning; putting in more information behind the actions does not make the story more "complex" in this case. After a certain point it just feels like the author is putting in "filler" to hit a specific page count which seems to be what he has done in many of his previous books (i.e. constantly talking about the lizard empires motivations and outlook when it has already been covered in several books). At this point if you have been following the author (so much easier than typing Aer-ki Jyr all the time) to this point you'll get it anyway and in those terms it's an ok book.
This is a good start for a new series . It is good that you've incorporated the nemesis of star force . In that you have given a new look on what their goals are and a better understanding of why they are acting as they do. I would recommend this series and wish the future books were written.

Great addition to the series. Hungry for more books! If you like sci-fi, I highly recommend this, but you must first read the entire Star Force series. Its worth it!!!
good book
The story keeps being revealed, and my enjoyment of the series continues to grow. The level of realism in this science fiction universe is so believable and still blows my mind. I see everyone enjoying this universe being created. I just wish the author had sav to write the books faster to feed my addiction ;)
Star Forces enemies have one giant task ahead of them. The struggles they face while trying to make heads or tails of terraxis make for a most interesting story. I wish I had more to read and that I didn't finish it so fast. Oh, well. Rooting for the next book to be the next mind blower that they all have been.
